Orientation Schedule

Students are required to attend the mandatory program and campus orientations. Please note that Orientation information will not be finalized until closer to the date. Please continuously check back for the most updated information that will get posted as soon as they are available.

Schedule

All academic events are expected to take place on campus. The standard academic schedule is Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am-3:00pm. Schedule may vary due to campus events, federal or Jewish holidays, or other significant occasions.

Dress Code

Students are required to wear Hunter Green scrubs, lab coats, and white shoes for lectures, lab, and clinical rotations. Additionally, they should bring shorts, tank tops, and/or sports bras to participate in all laboratory activities.

Textbooks

Faculty will provide students with the textbook information for each course. Textbooks can also be found in the library. Additionally, students will get access to the Journal of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JDMS) through the library.

TUC Alcohol Awareness Training

You soon will receive a notification regarding the mandatory TUC Alcohol Awareness educational video and quiz. All new students in the DMS Class of 2028 cohort must complete this video course and quiz by the second Friday of the semester. This is a federal requirement.

The portal for your cohort to complete this requirement is now open. Once the portal is open, you will receive an email notice to your @student.touro.edu email address. That email will contain log-in instructions. The instructions below will be in effect only after you have received your email notice that the portal is open.
