Academic Support OASIS

The Office of Academic Services and Institutional Support is your OASIS at Touro University California (TUC) for allies in the pursuit of academic excellence and perseverance. Browse Canvas and the OASIS website for a menu of services and details about their availability and application to your academic needs. Highlights include peer tutors for one to one or group engagement, study-skills workshops, and academic coaching appointments to personalize your strategy for success. Reach out to staff and peers in OASIS to leverage tools that optimize your study habits for achieving excellence.

  • Peer Tutoring Services

OASIS provides peer tutor support in two primary modalities: virtual and in-person.  The former consists of a nightly, virtual study-hall that is operational Sunday - Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., or through an application that can be accessed on either TUC Connect, Canvas, or the OASIS website.  In-person tutoring can be arranged by completing an application on any of those sites for one-on-one support. Subjects include most of the material covered in both the College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM) or Physician's Assistant (PA) program.
