About Us
The Pilipino United Students Organization (PUSO) is dedicated to upholding and promoting the Filipino culture and its significant cultural values in the collective efforts of providing compassionate and inclusive care and timely and comprehensive education and information to the local and nearby communities that Touro University California serves, with an emphasis on the Filipino population living and thriving in Vallejo and surrounding communities. We at PUSO aim to provide opportunities for ALL students of ALL colleges and programs at Touro University California to come together as one in continued service, emboldened by our inherent Filipino cultural values and heritage and united as healthcare professionals in training. With these cultural, clinical, educational, and life learning opportunities, we strive onwards to be of best service so that we may all have a fuller understanding of our Filipino identity and the health conditions and issues that Filipino populations face on a day-to-day basis.
