TUC DEI Mentor and Mentee Vignettes

TUC's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion has created the first TUC DEI Directory. Our idea stemmed from the goal to make these community and cultural months more personal to Touro California's community members and to apply the TUC vision, "inspirational teaching and scholarship, transformative leadership, exemplary service." Our hope with the Mentor/Mentee Vignettes as the starting point of the TUC DEI Directory is to increase inclusion, support, and celebration of representation and culture of students and faculty members at TUC. These vignettes emphasize the importance of the Mentor and Mentee connection in graduate health school and how to capacity build for a coalition of Diverse, Equitable, and Inclusive health professionals.
These person to person connections build the bridge to DEI directory. The DEI Directory is committed to current and prospective students to increase student and faculty engagement with a Diverse, Equitable, and Inclusive emphasis. Looking forward these initiatives will increase these connections and have students become Mentors themselves.

If you are interested in using the TUC DEI Directory as a resource or as an outreach OR if you are interested in being a Mentor or Mentee,  please fill out our intake form https://cglink.me/2hH/s66614
