Printing On Campus

There are several printers throughout the campus.  You can print to these devices from your personal laptop while connected to the TUC wireless network. You will access your print jobs with your TUC ID Badge. (You cannot print without your ID Badge.)  Your print jobs will be available on any of the student Xerox multi-function devices on campus for a period of 24 hours.  You can also send print jobs while off-campus and print them out when you get to campus.

Follow these instructions to install the new PaperCut client software on your computer:

Windows – Canvas > TUC Student Resources > Information Technology > TUC Student Printing > PC > PC_Install.pdf

Mac – Canvas > TUC Student Resources > Information Technology > TUC Student Printing > Mac > Mac_Install.pdf

**You must be on campus and logged into the TUC network in order to install the printing client.

You will receive a print allowance of 150 credits per academic year (75 in the Fall / 75 in the Spring).  Students in programs not spanning the whole academic year will receive a prorated print allowance.  The current print charges for letter-size prints or copies are as follows:

black & white single sided – 0.05 Credits

black & white two sided –  0.10 Credits

color single sided –  0.15 Credits

color two sided –  0.30 Credits

Your print allowance will give you access to a minimum of 500 and as many as 3,000 printed pages, depending on your color and two-sided print choices.  The PaperCut client software will give you access to your print account balance every time you connect your laptop to the TUC wireless network.

Cash acceptors are available in the Library and the Farragut Inn to purchase additional credits for your print account in the event that your print allowance runs out.  You are encouraged to purchase the least amount of credits possible to get you through the rest of the term as printing credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
