Details

People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) have a number of health complications throughout their lives. Epilepsy is one of the most common conditions. It is often medically refractory, associated with behavioral comorbidities, and a number of genetic syndromes are prevalent. The presentation will provide an overview on assessments, diagnostics, therapeutics as well as an important perspective on quality of life and caregiver supports.
